It there a way to jailbreak a iphone made in hongkong? Actually i purchased it in apple store at the hong kong aiport, i can use it anywhere in Asia, Africa and on some European gsm networks, i do not need to jailbreak it before use it with different countries sim cards. But as the application store is very limited, i still want to jailbreak it to be able to have acces to cydia and so on. I went to an iphone market in Beijing and they told me that after jailbreaking it i will not be able to swich off the phone anymore otherwise i will have to jailbreak it once again, and also the actual firmware install in the phone is 4.2.1 where by the jailbreak system they have here is 4.1 or some thing like that. I do not want to live with a jailbreaked phone knowing that i won't be able to off it otherwise the phone will just never on and i will have to jailbreak it again, also i do not want the previous firmwares, and that's why i didn't jailbreak it in that iphone market in Beijing
I want to know if it's possible to use the America jailbreaking system on a Hong Kong iphone, and if yes, what are the pros/cons and how do i do it?
