After I sync my iPhone4 (16GB), it shows there is 10.5 GB available BUT on the iPhone Settings/About it shows 4.6 GB available - yet number of videos, pics and apps are correct/same on both interfaces (iTunes & iPhone Settings/About).

Tried a total restore, which resolved the conflict until the next sync then it reverted to the wide gap in GB's available stated above.  Folks at the Genius Bar in the local Apple Store had no answer/help for me other then perplexed faces Undecided.  Based on the amount of pics, no music and minimal Apps, the 10.5 GB available is more accurate - as the Apple store folks agreed.

How do I get the phone Settings/About to sync with that info correctly moving forward?

Note, had the phone since July of 2010 and this is a problem that popped up a few months ago.

HMM, Interesting! I just checked this out by myself, and on my Mac it says I have 6-7 GB free space and on the About tab it says 2,0 GB... Weird. Gotta check up on this. I'll keep you updated if I find out anything.

I would be interested in any resolution(s) you might recommend.  I know several i4 users that have same challenge.

Thanks!
