Huh Hey all. can anyone help me, please? I have an iphone 4 4.2.1 I used greenpois0n to jail break it.I wanted to update it through Itunes but each time the operation times out after a while. The same thing happened when I tried to restore it.Itunes starts but never finishes the download. Iwent to settings and erased all settings and contents like an idiot. Now Iunes says iphone in restore mode but after downloadind about 245 MB says stopped. it gives no error> at times it says internet connection timed out. I tried entering DFU mode via redsn0w ,redsn0w says ok done but the same thing happens again with itunes.I tried to install cydia with redsn0w but it always gets stuck at the last step " jailbreaking filesystem> i'm really stuck here .some peolpe asked me if I have ever registered SHSH ,well I haven't. Is there a way out, please?  Huh

Are you trying to update or jailbreak. They're 2 different things.

To update your iPhone via iTune, you should select "Download" first. Only upon completed download, then plug in your iPhone for the update (or restore).

The latest Untethered Jailbreakable version is 4.3.3.

If you update to 4.3.5, you can only Tethered Jailbreak, which means you'll have to connect your iPhone to your PC and re-Jailbreak, everytime you start your device from a shutdown.
