Before upgrading to iOS5 I had 2 photo albums, Camera Roll, and Photo Library.

After the upgrade I have 3, the original 2, plus iTunes, which has the same content as Photo Library.

iTunes is the name of the folder on my data drive where I keep photos for the phone.

Anybody know how to delete one of the duplicate albums?

I'm guessing Photo Library is somehow connected to the old OS, while iTunes is connected to the new OS.

Try connecting your phone to your PC, start iTunes, goto the "Photo" tab, uncheck iTunes and apply.

Thanks Omnian,

I did that, got rid of iTunes album as well as the Photo Library album.
Re-checked ITunes, and it put both albums back.
Somewhere the is a "connection" between the iOS4 Photo Library album and the iOS5 iTunes album.

The iTunes is a sub-folder if you'd selected it through another folder from iTunes.

To keep all your photos, but not the iTunes folder, goto the [Photos] tab of your device in iTunes from your PC, select the iTunes folder FROM the dropdown box beside "Sync Photos from" and apply.

Omnion is right, it seems like ur missing what he is saying. I upgraded to ios5 and never got that iTunes folder. Thinking about it, my photos dont even go into itunes, they go into picasa when i connect to the computer.

You can manually move the photos from the iTunes folder and dont recheck the box when u sync them all...
